The Assitant High Commission of India is pleased to inform you that the opening ceremony of the prestigious "Bangabandhu - Bapu (Mahatma Gandhi) Digital Exhibition" on the Fathers of our two nations - Bangladesh and India - was organized at Rajshahi Divisonal Women's Sports Complex, Terokhadiya on November 20, 2021 at 4 pm.

The Assistant High Commission of India in Rajshahi celebrated the 57th #ITEC Day on September 27, 2021 which was attended by a large number of ITEC Alumni. They shared their experiences of how these Courses immensely benefitted them in their professional careers and thanked the Government of India for its efforts in capacity building and human resource development in Bangladesh. Several cultural performances were also staged during the event.

Celebration of #IDY2021 continued with another online session on #YogaForWellness conducted by ITEC-Yoga Alumna, Ms. Anusuya Sarkar on June 21 , after having conducted two successful sessions on June 13 and 15, 2021
Sri Sri Kendriyo Loknath Mandir, Ganeshtala, Royshaheb Bari, Dinajpur organized a Yoga session in their premises on June 21, 2021 to celebrate #IDY2021. Assistant High Commissioner of India in Rajshahi, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Bhati conveyed his thanks to the Temple Committee for their efforts to join this mass movement for health.
Virtual sessions on “Be with Yoga, Be at Home” were conducted by Anusuya Sarkar, ITEC-Yoga Alumna in Rajshahi on June 13 & 15, 2021 as the run-up events to the 7th International Day of Yoga
Sri Ramakrishna Ashram in Mahiganj, Rangpur organized a Yoga programme for children on June 18, 2021 on the occasion of 7th International Day of Yoga. Assistant High Commissioner of India in Rajshahi, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Bhati conveyed his thanks to the Ashram Committee for their efforts in promoting the spirit of #YogaForWellness.
Another #YogaForWellness event was organized on the occasion of #IDY2021 by Naljhuri Sri Sri Nigamananda Saraswat Ashram, Mirbag, Kaunia, Rangpur on June 19, 2021 to highlight the immense potential of Yoga in enhancing the physical, psychological and emotional aspects of our well-being. Assistant High Commissioner of India in Rajshahi, Shri Sanjeev Kumar Bhati congratulated the Executive Chairman of the Ashram Committee, Mr. Mrinal Kanti Roy and his team for their efforts in promoting Yoga as a system of holistic living.
In the series of virtual sessions/limited gathering events to commemorate #IDY2021, a Yoga Workshop for Women was organized by Yoga exponent, Madam Afsana Begum on June 19, 2021 at Yogi Hall, Uposhahr, Rajshahi to highlight Yoga postures useful in improving strength, balance, flexibility and for maintaining glowing & radiant skin. Assistant High Commissioner of India in Rajshahi, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Bhati commended her efforts in promoting the spirit of #YogaForWellness.
Maintaining the strict social distancing norms, Mahir & Tafeef Smiling &Yoga Foundation in collaboration with Quantum Foundation organized a spectacular event to commemorate #IDY2021 at Momo Inn, Bogura on June 19, 2021. Prof. Dr. Hosne-Ara Begum, Founder Executive Director, TMSS and Shri Sanjeev Kumar Bhati, Assistant High Commissioner of India in Rajshahi were also present on the occasion #YogaForWellness.

To highlight contribution of #YogaForWellness, the Assistant High Commission of India in Rajshahi, in association with Quantum Foundation, organized a Virtual Session on 'Yoga for COVID-19 Management' on June 20, 2021. The Yoga session was conducted by Ms. Nowrin Ahmed as part of #IDY2021 celebrations and it was very well received by the audience.
